From Entitlement to Intolerance to Expectation

      Until recently I thought there was a specter of hope in the entitlement community where they would see the proverbial writing on the wall. Freebies may be coming to an end, as they know them. The welfare set has become too emboldened recently as though society owes them for past grievances. Collectively we owe them nothing. Through protest, violence, misrepresentation of facts and finally murder their words and deeds speak for themselves. In certain quarters the latter elements are actually forgiven and or given a pass.

College and universities have become the newest battleground to spew hatred from those who condemn work and scholarship. Diminished standards placed these radicals in institutions which formerly would have rejected them. Coincident with their intolerance to other subsets of civil society a truly emboldened crowd has manifest an unheard of anger towards those who keep us safe. Calling for the annihilation of police steps over any line that can be drawn. Time has come to resurrect policies that have a measured approach in silencing this hideous rhetoric. What should our approach be to these malevolent attitudes and actions? Mark Davis

MARYLAND BOARD OF PHYSICIAN SCANDAL 101

Maryland’s toxic Board of Physicians has hurt too many for too long. This Administrative entity has a vast legal structure imposed on it to regulate physician function and performance with one caveat, these legal guidelines are not obeyed. Believe it or not the Board of Physicians (Board) has run an illicit organization, for several decades, with minimal to no supervision by the Maryland State Legislature. I have observed first hand this Board’s determination to harm a physician though the facts of the case moved in a different direction than charges imposed. “Enumerated below” are many not all reasons why current Board members and administrative staff (many of whom are lawyers) should be removed from office and investigated by legal authorities who sit beyond Maryland State’s borders. This scandal is more than a civil rights issue. Instead it is one of corruption in a State entity that has gone unchecked for far too long. With thick cronyism in play, judges who will defend the Board even when the evidence is against them and worst of all an Attorney General’s Office complicit with Board hierarchy time has come for an independent open investigation of their malicious behavior. The list that follows is drawn up from personal circumstance inflicted on Mark Davis, MD. A book is in preparation, with documentary evidence, confirming the incredulous journey one physician had, through 2 episodes of malicious prosecution with this corrupt entity, will be published soon.

1)    There is no set standard of medical record review in the files of the Maryland Board of Physicians. Therefore the Board can create any false narrative about a medical record they choose.

2)    Highly paid medical vigilantes review records for the Board. These physician reviewers are engaged from the private sector, given immunity and lie with impunity. I will present documentation in a forth coming book displaying the Board removes medical licenses under false pretenses.

3)    The Court of Special Appeals legislated from the bench that one physician reviewer is sufficient to have a medical license revoked. The regulations as written require two physicians to agree “standards of care” were not met. If two physicians have opposing views a third one is required to be brought into the dispute. In the author’s case of the two physicians utilized one noted this author followed the standard of care. The second physician, who did not practice dietary medicine nor had any special knowledge of this field consistently lied during a judicial hearing, as the transcripts display. Worse he was engaged from a company sued by this author previously.

4)    Knowing the facts in number 3 how could anyone draw up a charging document against a physician when one state reviewer noted this author did not violate the known “Standards of Care.”

5)    The Attorney General’s Office is deeply rooted in the scandalous behavior of the Board. One specific attorney from this office, Robert Gilbert, in his official capacity, fabricated charges against this physician as noted in number 4 to start a prosecution against this physician.

6)    Though the Board’s own judicial arm the Office of Administrative Hearings found for this physician the membership of the Board flipped the decision and gave this author a 3 year revocation which they changed to permanent status after he applied for reinstatement and passed a national test.

7)    The Maryland Board of Physicians is managed end to end by lawyers. From its top Executives to their review arm.  Trashing physicians is their speciality without regard to observance of physicians’ rights.

These enumerated malicious activities and many more, at the minimum, need to be brought before a State of Maryland Legislative committee empowered to review this administrative entity. Abuse of authority is evident. Does the evidence rise to the level of felonies? I would submit this to be the case. In the end patients suffer needlessly for this indiscriminant use of authority. Perhaps in the near future the true nature of the Board’s scandalous behavior will be revealed to all and as a result appropriate prosecutions may occur. My question is will Maryland Courts once again provide immunity for the Board’s illicit activities.  More to come.

President Trump speaks in three voices; economic, political and personal. Each of these three voices conveys hope in a time of hopelessness. Donald Trump came along when specious rhetoric from the opposing party tried to fool a nation that all was well. Political opponents threw darkness in his path yet candidate Trump pushed back with a fervor not seen in a generation. America was coasting downhill with no fix in sight. President Trump’s strong hand, steady mind and voice of reason came along to repair the mess as he described the conditions left behind by his predecessor. The Trump effect has infiltrated the minds of everyone who hears his words. Pleasing to most his three voices direct a former sad populous in the right direction. Trump’s naysayers are anarchists, celebrity degenerates, paid agitators and a dumb down populous. Consider Donald Trump the wealthiest repairman who every visited your home. In office for under one month Trump has already undone the tragedies performed by former President Obama in 8 years with more improvements to come. Queen of Hollywood believes she is Queen of America

Meryl Streep is unquestionably the most awarded actress in Hollywood history. Sadly she feels empowered to strike at President Trump whenever a convenient microphone is nearby. Streep’s political rants have made news recently especially her tirade at the Golden Globes last month. Leaning heavily to the left her commentary appears all over the map. From immigration to her reckless imagery of President Trump’s character she does not hold back in her personal attacks on him. Hollywood celebrities, with the exception of a few, lean heavily to the left reflected in their overwhelming support for Hillary Clinton. Ms. Streep’s bold denigration of our current President was answered in kind by the focus of her hateful narrative. Trump Tweeted that Ms. Streep is overrated as an actress. Many would agree with him. Nevertheless Ms. Streep, who believes her wealth and position in Hollywood gives her free reign to direct hateful rants towards our  newly elected leader, is wrong and should be reined in. Day to day this selfish woman does not come into contact with Obamacare, exposure to terrorism, packed flights at airports, illegal crimes and more. As long as her staff cleans her mansions, nannies her kids (if not grown), takes care of her gardens, runs errands and other actions that others perform for themselves she moves along in life untethered by norms we address daily.  Where was her voice when fifty people were killed in an Orlando Florida last summer? Where were her vocalizations when 14 people were murdered by terrorists in her over taxed state of California several years ago? Her silence on these and other acts of terrorism was deafening. Now we have a leader who desires to rein in those who could cause more tragedies against all of us and this wretch of a human being attacks him.    Sometimes I cringe when listening to Juan Williams speak on Fox News through their various media outlets. Mr. William’s brand of news must inject a bit of darkness no matter where the discussion leads. His strong background working for various news organizations such as the Washington Post and National Public Radio belies the fact he never seems to be prepared for round table discussions or one on one interviews. Race relations, in all its formats, is always on the plate when Juan is in the room. Fox News’ goal to bring balance to their presentations does not excuse them for the many nonsensical statements brought to the air by Mr. Williams. Fact and opinion appear to merge when Juan’s turn to speak arrives. He legitimatizes Democrat actions in the Congress by drawing on fallacious and or misinterpretations of historical events.  Juan sees life through the filter of racism. There is no doubt about his Party affiliation. Juan is 100% Democrat. Hillary’s criminality, no problem for Juan. President Trump’s attempt to keep America safe is impugned by a man whose mind goes in only one direction. I once saw Juan smile. His grimace paralleled that of Lurch from the Adam’s Family. Perhaps Juan Williams has out grown Fox or vice versa. Nevertheless in the very small event I watch Fox programming if Juan is present I move on. WHY MANY WILL MISS BARACK OBAMA

Former President Barack Obama energized the media with his weekly scandals, blatantly confusing rhetoric and the devious nature in which he managed his office. Barack Obama’s passing into history is tantamount to a pin hitting the floor, it’s barely audible now. This article can only touch upon the myth created around an ineffectual leader. As we know myths become legends and legends become whispers of a past that never happened.

Egregious leaders are usually colorful, self-absorbed with egos that define who they are, no less for the former President. Many questions still surround Obama’s background that continues to haunt us today. Why was his school records kept from the public? How did he manage to obtain entrance to Harvard Law School? Who were his financial backers?  One can clearly state a cloak of secrecy enveloped him early on keeping inquisitive minds at a distance. During the hunt to identify who resided in the White House the hunters were stonewalled at every turn. The greater irony was the alphabet soup of media outlets were in the tank for him right or wrong. Those who took an antithetical view to Obama’s stated goals found themselves diminished and or out in the street because there was no tolerance for the truth under the then reigning monarch. The game was who would Obama harm next as he cheated the country out of a well-deserved treason trial.

Against all odds the country did not fall into a World War as Obama destroyed relationships with the few friends the United States had left on this planet. Israel was blatantly rebuffed. Russia was cast as the ultimate evil empire ready to tear into us without notice. China was given the keys to our country as they dumped commercial products on our shores creating massive trade imbalances measured in hundreds of billions. Incompetence cannot be measured. In the event it could Obama’s IQ would be beyond the ability to quantify. The former President’s actions eviscerated this country. Nobel Peace Prize was given to him yet no peace occurred. Trillions stolen from the treasury to reconstruct the country yet infrastructure is still decadent. Health care access and delivery are a mess after spending hundreds of billions on a program designed to lose.  Race relations are infinitely worse since Obama took office for deliberate reasons among them were his blatant hate for every tradition and institution which made this country strong. Ineptitude follows those who spread their wings but have no ability to fly. President Obama could not fly nor did he have the capability to perceive the detriment he caused the nation.  As the toxic cloud of Democrat rule diffuses the left will attempt to stifle the new President’s rule with a collection of measures designed to cause gridlock. President Trump will succeed, as the left, shocked by a loss to him, moves further into oblivion.  Yes, tens of millions will miss Obama for the day to day entertainment his incompetence provided. Now that he has moved on the level of Prozac intake has already gone down exponentially as we look forward to rational government once again. Politicization of the Maryland Board of Physicians

Few administrative authorities in Maryland are as corrupt as the State’s Board of Physicians. Delegitimized by a cooperative effort with the State’s Attorney General’s Office physician licensing is mere numbers game to them. Utilizing blatantly false evidence in association with paid medical vigilantes medical license revocation has been brought to a high art form in this very blue state. I have been through this process twice. Each time the lies and misrepresentations by the medical board get deeper and the litigation longer. Facts get in the way of their ultimate agenda to sanction as many physicians as they can. Though the State government has provided a level of safeguards for physicians being inspected by the medical board these regulations are generally circumvented. With the help of a judiciary hostile to physician plaintiffs the medical board tends to obtain decisions favorable to them no matter where the evidence lies.

In my first confrontation with the Board of Physicians in 1990 the author was not aware of many facts at the time. Two physicians who came to review the author’s work at a nursing home he managed had perjured themselves in documentation and at an administrative hearing, were not in the same field as the author and had no authority to review him. Worse these facts and others were hidden by an eager Attorney General’s Office managed by J. Joseph Currans trying to be reelected. When the author had an opportunity through Freedom of Information request to see the documents that included these embedded facts he filed a lawsuit. To cover up the unlawfulness of his office Attorney General Curran’s representatives quickly enabled the author to regain his medical license on or about 1995.

In the author’s last go around with this corrupt entity one of the two Board witnesses engaged by this administrative entity sided with this physician as well as the judge in the Office of Administrative Hearings.That was not enough for these cretins who decide physician licensure. Their appointed lawyer, Robert Gilbert from the Attorney General’s office, brought charges knowing that one their expert witnesses completely disagreed with the charging document’s contents. The Board turned around their own judge’s ruling giving the author a 3 year revocation. Then on request for reinstatement, after passing a national test of clinical knowledge, was denied a license. To wound the author further the Board’s director wrote to the author not to reapply again. Corruption in this entity is not to be taken lightly. My case in not unique yet exemplifies a process that destroys careers even when there is minimal or no root cause.

Attorney General’s Office is supposed to bring factual data to the table when taking a case against a physician into an Administrative Hearing. In this physician’s case that did not happen nor was he allowed to defend himself because of quirks in Board Law. Nearly every rule of judicial and Board etiquette was circumvented to obtain a result that never should have ended in the way it did against this physician. Maryland physicians who have been dragged through the mud by the Board and the Attorney General’s Office are aware of the intrinsic

unfairness embedded in the civil prosecution of physicians. Doctors have few rights and even fewer abilities to effectuate a positive outcome when confronted by a Board that has lost sight of its reason for being and a judiciary in the tank for the Board. There is much more to this story including a massive amount of money that went unaccounted for from the author’s nursing home when the State intervened in its function in 1990, 157 patients who were displaced from their long term home, 160 workers who lost their jobs and more. Deceit unparalleled by a sitting Attorney General and misrepresentations to the public to keep his backside in a government post he did not deserve were at the forefront of this malicious prosecution. Books and reviews are inseparable. Reviews are fingerprints of the authored work they intend to display. A proper critique demands an appropriate analysis to draw out the best in a book. Eric Arthur Blair, better known as George Orwell, could not have written a darker scenario than America presently confronts. Government actors including but not limited to; the President of the United States Barack Obama, the Attorney General Loretta Lynch and membership of the FBI have colluded with Hillary Clinton’s campaign to alter the outcome of the presidential election.  Their actions include obstruction of justice, misuse of classified information, destruction of classified information and other offenses against this nation. Congress stands by as the Executive Branch pummels a nonpolitician who wants to “Drain the Swamp” of corruption in our Capital. Our nation has been compromised by a rogue government which puts itself before the people. Not to worry a new sheriff is coming to town.

Donald Trump is no paragon of virtue or saint. His origins are derived from the hard streets of New York City. His father, Fred Trump, built residences for those in the low and middle income brackets. In this environment our next President became intensely interested in real estate. Building an expansive company Donald Trump has developed numerous skills, lacking in most politicians, which could benefit the entire nation. The wall of skepticism generated by the left concerning Trump’s abilities and lifestyle were designed to take him down. They failed miserably. Instead media outlets pushing this adulterated garbage have been rebuked by Trump and his followers. Ratings of left wing news outlets have tanked and some Hillary co-conspirators have lost their jobs. With that stated the cleansing process has already begun.

Universal stupidity has brought the present government into power. Promises made were not promises kept. Degenerate thought processes have driven governmental departments to destroy whatever good government could do for us leaving behind a barren frontier to rebuild. Trump is the correct person to initiate this building process. Every institution, tradition and industry has been touched in some form or manner by the overreach of incompetence. As bad as this sounds there is worse. Intimidation of American citizens on a level, not seen in one human life time, has emerged as a norm for the Obama Administration. Payoffs, kickbacks and bribes have accompanied the current President’s tenure in office received by those who lather praise on him. Imagine for a moment that a Republican was in office involved in the same actions. Special prosecutors would be invoked and indictments would flow. Will this Teflon President jump ship and avoid his day in court? Not likely. With the new sheriff a few days away from appointment there is no place in the foothills or valleys to hide. Come clean Mr. President the American people and your soul need a lift from 8 years of your reign.

Hillary Takes Her Final Curtain Call

Doors are quickly slamming in the face of presidential contender Hillary Clinton. New revelations that thousands of unaccounted emails, hidden by Clinton’s right hand associate Huma Abedin, have emerged from her estranged husband’s computer. In a letter to Congress on October 28, 2016 FBI Director James Comey noted his office recently obtained emails which are additive to the tens of thousands already in the FBI possession. Comey did not explain their significance but some suggest sufficient information has been developed to warrant another look at Hillary’s server scandal. Comey’s cryptic message stunned the nation because all involved believed Hillary’s server scandal was put to rest in July. We now know that Comey’s integrity has been tarnished greatly by colluding with the Clintons. A money trail, into the million, leading to the door of the FBI Director may have been his motivation not to recommend an indictment of Hillary. This money trail has many facets which requires more exploration. By reopening Hillary’s case some believe Comey is trying to cover his backside and regain part of his reputation lost by his prior actions. Others conceive of a Comey who could face an indictment of his own for obstruction of justice. Will this latest action hurt Hillary’s chances of becoming president? Please read on.    

Hillary’s character and reputation have been written about ad nauseam. Needless to state those on the right impugn her reputation constantly. Yet those on the left believe she is angelic with impeccable integrity. As I choke on the last sentence in the event the hammer does not fall on Hillary’s campaign for president with these newest releases then nothing will. America has been dumb down to set the stage

 for a tyrant, similar to Hillary, to gain power. Democrats have lightened the load for students who have to learn the minimum to get by. Civics and history courses are not emphasized prohibiting students from understanding that bad people exist in the World such as the Clintons. With that stated Trump has been on the correct course since the beginning. Left wing radical news outlets and their various commentators have hardly put a dent into the Republican candidate’s campaign with their rigged polls and negative social innuendos. James Comey may have placed a nail into the coffin of Hillary’s campaign by his most recent actions. We will know in a few days if Comey grew a new set of cojones to indict Hillary. If not Trump will have to take care of business once he is sworn in.

Showdown in the city that bleeds

 

Baltimore has been a tinderbox for many years waiting for the right moment to combust. That moment came when Freddie Gray died. His horrific death came while he was in police custody. As a result of this senseless tragedy emotions of city residents could not be contained. Many took to the streets in peaceful protests. Unfortunately many more used this as an opportunity to loot, vandalize and pillage throughout the city. http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/28/us/baltimore-riots/index.html Baltimore police were overwhelmed with the level of hostility embedded in the crowds confronting them. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake assuaged the mobs by requesting the police stand back allowing looters to destroy private property. She later back tracked on this policy when interviewed by the media noting her statements were taken out of context. City Hall and the police have been at odds concerning policing techniques for years. The current mayor has brought this controversy to a new level. Mayor Blake’s soft stance on crime and her inadequate support for the police have contributed to the riots now taking place in Baltimore.

 

Over the last several days life in Baltimore has come to a near standstill. The media’s false assumption that Mr. Gray’s death is responsible for all the chaos now viewed nightly is naïve at best. Baltimore has had an epidemic of crime for decades. Though city officials and the left wing press attempt to hide Baltimore’s problems behind smiling faces the facts bear out it is one of the most dangerous cities in America. http://www.examiner.com/article/baltimore-unsafe-at-any-speed After many nights of violent protests Baltimore’s Mayor finally conceded she could not manage the rioting that touched her city. She requested Governor Larry Hogan to call up the National Guard. Governor Hogan immediately called the Guard into force wondering aloud why Mayor Blake waited until the city was immersed in chaos. Resources from other jurisdictions within and outside Maryland have also agreed to help in the effort to quell the rioting. These protectors of the public must ask themselves is the risk worth the effort.

 

Interviewed on the streets protesters provide various views why violence has erupted in their city. Some of their reasoning is amorphous and garbled.  Others note police have no respect for community members therefore the violence is necessary to shake them up. From this perspective looting is the prime objective not police brutality as their leaders have stated.                                                                                                Hostilities will not abate as along as the Mayor and City Council pander to those who commit crimes. Many believe agitators have come a distance to push their own agenda: which is complete disruption of city services. If that is the case they did not need to do much. Arrests have been kept to minimum to curry favor with the rioters. Mayor Blake needs to get her act together or Baltimore will become the Detroit of the East Coast.

Exodus: A Movie Lost in the Wilderness

     Radically different than prior versions of this story Exodus brings great shame to a magnificent biblical saga. Scripted to deviate from prior incarnations Exodus wanders through a series of sequences looking for a story that never develops. With horrible acting and  poorly designed back lot sets the audience is degraded as the movie unfolds. Christian Bale should have remained with the Batman series instead of sullying himself with this dreck of a film. John Turturro plays Seti, ruler of Egypt and beyond. He should have stayed in Brooklyn making bagels in Transformers. God has been diminished to a tertiary  role, which will make all atheist viewers happy. To reveal these sequences would spoil a film that spoils itself. As the cast moves from scene to scene the thousands of extras appear disconnected from the director's cues. For biblical purists I am still searching for a scene that comes near one event as originally told in this great work. Charlton Heston, the renown Moses of the 1050s, would have laughed off this script if offered to him. In a sense we have one of the best biblical tales treated to some of the worst Hollywood has to offer. My vote of 5 out of 10 is stated not to offend the acting of the mass numbers of extras. At nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes this film is 2 hours and 30 minutes too long.

Prior to Governor O’Malley assuming office casinos were viewed as an anathema in Annapolis. Fears of gambling addiction and the harsh impact on those who are already impoverished were on the tongue of every democrat in Annapolis. When Governor Ehrlich faded from the scene those same tongues had a new message far removed from their initial exhortations. The new message is: Gambling “profits”are needed to build and refurbish schools, improve infrastructure and shore up the general fund. The message behind the message casts doubt on where those funds would actually end up. Well known to those who use to flock to Maryland’s first casino, Hollywood, that its payouts are extremely low. Weekdays there may be more workers on the premises than players. Month after month this casino notes profits from its machines that are a contradiction to the number who move through this facility each day. Floor workers admit that complaints abound concerning payoffs from the machines they tend day after day. Validation comes in the form of a visit to this facility, it might be your last. Maryland live in Anne Arundel County opened in June to a massive influx of the hopeful, whose expectations were shattered when they put their hard earned entitlement money into the machines. Maryland Live has reported tens of millions in earnings for one reason, minimal payoffs are made to its players. Advertisements from the latter two casinos note a few high payoffs to the occasional lucky visitor. These sums are pennies to facilities that are cleverly defrauding an unsuspecting populace of millions each day. There is gambling than there is stealing.  Maryland’s facilities are in stealing mode presently. Maryland’s new bank’s depositors are the vast entitlement crowd, pensioners, the Workers Compensation community, the disabled and a few that actually work outside of government circles. Few if any of these groups are benefitting from the influx of Casinos. Commercials state that Maryland’s schools benefit from casino money. Do we need to rob people in casinos to support schools? How many families have been destroyed by the gambling infection brought to us by Maryland democrats? Worse, how many businesses have closed because of gambling debts? Who really benefits from gambling? No one! Jurisdictions that receive funds from casino payments know that someone had to lose large sums for them to gain. Neither the Governor nor the legislature that forced casinos upon us have a moral center to work from. Therefore, the negative ramifications casinos in Maryland have wrought are no consequence to those who lost their souls a long time ago. One question remains who was bought off to bring these low paying facilities to fruition? Watch the headlines, any day the shackles will be on those who sold Maryland to the highest bidder. Historic in nature and still evolving Obama’s circuitous route to America’s downfall will come at a tremendous price for everyone who supports its infrastructure. In order to fully comprehend the totality of the havoc Obama has wrought on the American landscape, one only needs to review the besieged health care system. In a brief two year period since its inception and passage, Obama’s monstrous health legislation has taken control of the system away from medical providers and turned it over to an overreaching bureaucracy. Judges and lawyers will decide who lives and who dies. America’s transition from a super power to third world status has been expedited by a mentality that is so deficient mere words cannot describe it. Cleverly attempting to cover up his Muslim leanings, our Chief Executive has given the government an atheistic flare denouncing religious symbolism and speech wherever his Justice Department can ferret out its existence. Freedom of speech has taken a major turn with Obama’s unrelenting attempts to quell it whenever it speaks the truth of his actions. No one is surprised by the harsh tones his liberal regime has for FOX media. They are among the few that have the cojones to take on the detriments Obama has thrust on the American population. FOX, as you may be aware, is under review by the Justice Department for very nebulous reasons. Looking more like Soviet style suppression everyday, edicts by the dozens have emanated from the White House which place controls on nearly all American institutions and industries. One ominous document released on a recent Friday, in an attempt to slip it by the media, enumerates a long list of powers the government can use against the population in case of a national crisis. Does Obama plan to call a national emergency and suspend the coming election? President Obama is now moving across America attempting to regain the momentum he had during his 2008 campaign. Many supporters are reexamining their stance on a man who displays boundless ineptitudes as he mismanages America into decline. Unfortunately the person that might replace him may not be much better. Romney guarantees an Obama victory

Romney has not portrayed himself as a man of the people. His detached lifestyle does not resonate well with a majority of potential voters on the right. Recently asked why he hides his money in the Cayman Islands, his stump speech answer “the blind trust” controls his funds. When asked to reveal his taxes, his donations to Uncle Sam and charities suddenly skyrocketed prior to their release.  On global warming, he is ambivalent on the subject. Romneycare is represented as a program residents of the Bay State were enthused by, a profound lie. A trail of misrepresentations and uncertainties follow Romney wherever he goes. In Michigan he was less than welcome because of his stance against the auto bailout. In Florida he spent tens of millions to character assassinate Newt Gingwich causing the winds to shift in his direction. Rick Santorum is now under siege by Romney’s financial hammer to win his home state of Michigan. Romney’s destroy at all costs approach to his opponents is having a paradoxical effect, people see him for whom he really is, a shallow candidate with many flaws. Fox and other networks lauded him in the last month, yet the public has many doubts about a man who could be an Obama clone. The White House is drawling over the present infighting in the Republican Party, they only have to stir the pot. November’s election is crucial, Iran is on move and we are not. America does not need another inept leader who Monday morning quarterbacks national and international policies. Dark days are ahead in the event we do not elect a strong leader who has an iron will to act against aggressive behavior aimed at us and our allies such as Israel. The next war could be the last war. America needs someone with the inner strength and foresight to make the World aware that America is back, don’t screw with us. Romney is far from that person. Maryland Board of Physicians: abusive peer review 101

Maryland Board of Physicians former executive director publically stated that this administrative entity was not sanctioning enough physicians. Indeed a political statement with a more profound meaning, the Board of Physicians was commanded to generate more cases to make their sanction numbers look better on the national scene. To carry out this directive, fake standards of care were generated to bring more physicians under the legal hammer of the Board. Many borderline physicians found they could make a good living rubberstamping whatever Board of Physician attorneys put to paper in the form of charges against their colleagues. These rogue medical reviewers were given immunity from prosecution to sweeten the pot. With the stage set and the actors in play physicians found themselves being lambasted by a medical board that did not have the best interests of Marylanders in mind. Circumventing established laws, mandates and legal covenants Medical Board lawyers employed by the Maryland Attorney General’s Office levied unsubstantiated charges at the physician populace. Cooperating at the highest levels with Medical Board personnel, Maryland Courts vigorously supported any muck they threw at physicians. This author has extensive examples where facts of a case do not justify the negative opinions Maryland Courts have dispensed in medical licensing cases.   In the event an administrative judge found for a physician, the Medical Board is allowed under the law to reverse that decision, without hearing the case. Physicians have been kept in the dark about Medical Board procedures, because rules of medical chart review are either created on a whim or may not have been promulgate at all. The recent Maryland Legislative Audit of the Board of Physicians emphasizes that this administrative entity has been derelict in its duties to act ethically and responsibly when carrying out its functions, the Board has done neither. One point that glaringly arises on the many reviews that this former doctor has come across, physicians in the ivory towers have been minimally stung by the political entity that licenses them. Several blatant examples of physicians who were sued numerous times and lost, were deliberately overlooked for review until the media became aware of this dichotomy.  Politically connected medical doctors, especially those associated with the two main university hospitals, would have to outright murder a patient before the Board of Physicians opens its eyes and blinks. Physicians most apt to be victimized by this rogue agency and the cretins who represent them are those in private practices who are not political dynamos. Maryland should have an independent agency that has the power to perform a deeper review of the Board of Physicians. Maryland Board of Physicians is many things, but honesty and integrity eludes them. A munificent Maryland Legislative administrator released a copy of the recent audit of the Maryland Board of Physicians to my office. Imposed on this administrative authority is a clear set of laws, mandates and regulations to carry out its functions. According to the Legislative audit the Board of Physicians and its staff have a collective case of amnesia, they forgot these laws exist. The Board’s regulatory structure is designed to safeguard Maryland citizens and provide due process to the health practitioners targeted for review. The Maryland Board of Physicians has failed at both of these objectives. Worse, friends of the Board get special treatment when a suspicion is raised about the quality of their work. How many times have you seen a physician from John Hopkins or University of Maryland medical centers castigated by this Board? Hundreds of doctors in Maryland run trauma mills that bill tens of millions of dollars to insurance companies for quasi claims, where are their reviews? Perhaps you have read the promulgated set of rules the Board has generated to carry out its mandates established by the Maryland Legislature, they don’t exist. Maybe you have noticed that politically active physicians get a pass in Maryland when accused of an egregious event. Those of you who still have some analytic abilities may have perceived that the Maryland Board of Physicians hammers politically unpopular physicians, who do not fall in line with the agenda of the week. The politically appointed Maryland Secretary for Health was asleep in his expensive office when this audit was released. Once he woke up the excuse machine was turned on to offset his obvious failure of oversight. Sometimes illegalities cannot be swept under the proverbial rug and that is exactly what has happened. Maryland Attorney General’s Office has been the CHIEF  ENABLER of the illegalities that have infected the Maryland Board of Physicians. Those who need proof should look no further than the Legislative audit. Nearly all the legal work for the Maryland Board of Physicians is performed by the Attorney General’s Office. The two links are obvious.  Physicians who are targeted for review by the Maryland Board are in fact being condemned by a Maryland administrative agency that has worked outside its mandates and the law. Maryland Medical Society has not commented on this legislative audit. Their stance on any issue emanating from the Maryland Board of Physicians is usually dead silence. What about the Courts? Obama’s greatest talent is deception. His birth records, recently released from their artificial cocoon, continue to create doubts to his origins. School records to validate Obama’s genius, as the media would like us to believe, have been sequestered along with the methodology he used to obtain admission to Harvard Law School. Two books credited to his name have the mark of an erudite ghostwriter, not from the hand of someone who requires a teleprompter to construct simple sentences. Obama was weaned on left wing rhetorical nonsense, why should we expect any better from him. For last three years Obama has successfully deconstructed institutions and traditions that have taken two centuries of sacrifice to establish. He has removed the words democratic and democracy from our fund of knowledge, replacing it with his brand of socialism. Obama’s sophistry is so profound that he even believes his own veiled lies. America exists at the right time to have such a chief executive.  This nation was deliberately dumb down in the last generation removing any analytic ability voters have to discern the danger zone candidates such as Obama would place this nation in. True reality hits hard when someone awakens from a coma. America, in the majority, is beginning to realize that they are not in Kansas anymore. From Main Street to Wall Street legal structure has changed, placing more control of our lives, in the hands of the central government at the expense of the individual. Obamacare is the president’s crowning achievement. This legislation was never intended to improve health care. It was a gift to lawyers, unions, Obama supporters and the indolent who will benefit by it in a myriad of ways. Wealth redistribution not health care will be the final outcome for a legislation that should never have seen the light of day. Obama’s intends to descend into Hell, the problem is he wants to take the rest of us with him. Do not let him, vote right in 2012. Maryland’s Board of Physicians has seen better days. Recent changes in its membership composition have turned it into little more than a neighborhood watch group. Its former expertise has evaporated, to make way for the present politically correct entity that has clearly and unapologetically flouted the very laws that empower them. Recently, the medical board has come under fire for its lax procedures, disregard for due process, failure to follow legislative mandates and sundry other issues uncovered by a legislative audit. Physicians no longer can look to the medical board for guidance in the course of their practices because this administrative entity has not promulgated any rules of procedure in the last decade. Though Maryland citizens have a right to competent medical personnel, this should not preclude physicians from obtaining unbiased, appropriate and legitimate review when their abilities are questioned. Maryland’s legislative audit was superficial, yet alarming. The physician community was aware of many of its findings for years.  Statutes written to provide a level of fairness to physicians during a review process have not been instituted. As a result a physician can now lose his/her medical license based on the word of one physician, who may not be in the specialty of the doctor under review contrary to Maryland law. This is exemplified in the case of Mark Davis, MD whose medical license is pending revocation. The medical board should have its charter revoked, and Dr. Davis’ case should be reviewed because of the illicit manner in which it was managed. Legislators are calling for an external review of the Board and plan to engage the services of a physician from the University of Maryland. This is a big mistake. The politically active doctor they have in mind will white-wash the mess the retiring director Irving Pinder is leaving behind. Maryland Board of Physicians needs to be reconstituted. All of its procedures should come under review and present actions against medical personnel should be put in abeyance until the public is allowed transparency into the board’s procedures and practices.
